Ted is a multi-talented young man who also happens to be Autistic. In fact, Ted was ahead of the explosion of cases of autism which started erupting in the mid ’90’s. As a child, both my husband and I had no idea how to handle Ted and his behaviors which were quite serious at the time. I used to say that he could break glass with his screams! Well! Let me introduce you to THEO – a musician who sings out in Taverns and in Churches all over the New York City environs. Many people know him from his evenings at An Beal Bocht – an Irish pub in Riverdale, the Bronx. He’s got a small fan base there. And here is the astonishing feature about Ted. When he’s onstage he captures the heart of the patrons! He can hold them in his hands as he plays his 6 string or 12 string guitar singing everything from Peter Paul and Mary o Harry Chapin to Back Street Boys to Pharoh Williams’ HAPPY to Lady Gaga’s song BAD ROMANCE. Ted is always surprising people with his knowledge of music whether it be how he can interpret a song to how he can harmonize w other singers at a moment’s notice. Many times his harmony backs up a singer who’s lost his way during a song and Ted comes to the rescue with his strong rhythmic voice. This Website is Ted’s personal Love Story to his fans.
